What is RPA?
RPA is Robotic Process Automation, a programming platform used to automate business processes. ONQ’s robotics team works with billing organizations to design, develop and implement virtual robots to perform highly repetitive tasks.
Some of the capabilities of RPA include:

Capturing data from software applications or websites

Logging in and updating records within a software (billing) application

Triggering communications when tasks are updated or completed

Simple calculations

Reconciliations
The list goes on. An easy way to think about it is: if you can write a rule for an employee to follow which will result in a task being completed, we can automate it.
The concept of RPA
is intuitive.
Businesses have been looking for ways to automate processes forever. Like any CIO will tell you, you can find programmers, and you find people who understand revenue cycle management, but finding programmers who understand RCM is not so easy.
Before a programmer is considered for ONQ’s RPA development team, they begin by working in RCM. Once they understand billing, only then can they be considered for programming duties. ONQ’s marriage of RCM expertise along with RPA yields a unique set of solutions we call Qbots.
