According to last night’s report by the Ministry of Health (MINSA), Panama’s numbers have risen to 343,281 with 5,895 deaths. As of today, 150,411 vaccines have been administered.
This weekend the country will be completely open with no lockdown! Everyone is excited to be able to enjoy the world outside of their homes both Saturday and Sunday. The mask mandate is still law, and gatherings of no more than 10 are allowed. This is a move toward something closer to our new normal, and we look forward to the positive progress.
Today is Tom Matthews’ last day with ONQ. We wish him the best in his future endeavours. ONQ has set some lofty goals for our future, and we believe that we have the right team in the right seats to get us there. We know that any executive level change for a company can disrupt the daily course of business; please be assured that our ONQ team is making this transition seamless and will continue to provide the highest level of service. Tom’s principal role of sales will continue from within our leadership, and we hope to expand the sales division soon. The Executive Team of ONQ believes that we are stronger as a company today than we have ever been. We are excited about our future and look forward to our continued growing partnerships!
Next Tuesday, marks the one year since the first COVID-19 case was diagnosed in Panama. It is hard to believe it has already been a year, but we are happy to have made it this far.
Again, and as always, we are hoping for you and your loved ones’ safety and well-being.
