Happy Monday, QFamily Partners!
It’s hard to believe that we are already one month into 2022! I have no idea where the month went.
This morning the 16th Annual Contact Center World Global Awards were presented. The honors would typically be a black-tie event, but due to COVID-19, Contact Center World streamed it live. It was the first “gala” that I had been two at 7:00 am, as attendees were viewing from all over the world. It is such a great honor to have competed with the best in the industry. With over 2000 entrants, including the best from more than 80 nations, the 16th annual competition began in 2021 in three regional conferences: North/South America, Europe/Middle East/Africa, and the Asia Pacific Regions. After being named Best in their respective regions, the gold and silver medalists compete for “Best in the World.”
I am proud to announce that ONQ made a clean sweep of the “Best in the World” awards for which we were nominated. I am incredibly proud that our newest Vice Presidents were given the highest honor in the individual categories!
Best in the World: HR Professional – Caitlin Morvidelli, Vice President of Finance and Administration, Trainer – Lucas Fuentes, Vice President of Development, and I am very honored to have won Contact Center Executive.
For the Company Awards, ONQ received Best in the World Crisis Management for our COVID-19 response plan and Best in the WorldCustomer Service!
I am proud of our teams that helped bring these accolades to the QFamily.
The Omicron variant has hit Panama hard, and we have been dealing with several of our agents becoming positive, many of whom have received both vaccine shots and a booster. The leadership team is working diligently to maintain phone coverage and complete production. I stopped sending infection numbers for Panama early last year because they had greatly diminished. But January 2022 saw 4,490 new cases and 262 deaths in Panama, surpassing the numbers from January 2021.
We are scheduling our first ONQ-U for 2022 for the end of March, and we are looking for guest professors. Yara Infante, our Director of Knowledge Management, will be scheduling classes for Saturday, March 26, and the evening of Wednesday, March 30. Our teams are always eager to learn from our clients, so if you are interested, please click here.
On a side note: I know that we have clients who were rooting for their teams in the playoff, and many of you know what a diehard LSU Tiger I am. So, I am incredibly proud that LSU’s own Joe Burrow is going Super Bowling! GEAUX JOE!
Again, and as always, we hope for you and your loved ones’ safety and well-being. Stay safe out there!
