Happy Friday, QFamily Partners!
According to last night’s report by the Ministry of Health, Panama’s numbers have risen to 305,752 with 4,944 deaths. Although the infection rate has dramatically decreased over the past several weeks, the country’s quarantine measures will remain in place for the near future. Weekdays remain gender-specific: Women can be out Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Men on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Weekends remain total lockdown for the entire country, and with two widely recognized holidays in the next two months, Carnavales (US Mardi Gras) and Semana Santa (the week ending in Good Friday), the government is considering keeping these restrictions in place until after Easter. The first shipment of the vaccine arrived this week, and vaccinations are underway.
With the total lockdowns during weekends, we have time to do many things, from completing household projects to taking more naps! For those who enjoy reading, our team shares their favorite books in this week’s video. Click here to view.
Our first class of 2021 started this past Tuesday with 22 agents, and we are celebrating our first graduation of 2021 with 20 agents completing their training this afternoon.
We have announced our first quarter ONQ-U: Wednesday, February 24, and Saturday, February 27. We are looking for professors to teach virtually and encourage all of our client partners to participate. Class topics range from customer service to technical skills and personal finance to stress management. Our employees are always eager to learn!
Next week, we are starting QTalk, where one of our management team members will interview one of the executive team members for a candid conversation. We hope that these monthly QTalks will help the QFamily connect more closely to the executive team by learning more about them personally and professionally. We start next week with CEO, Jack McBride.
I am currently planning our annual management retreat and leadership training. These meetings will be the first time held virtually, so I am excited and nervous about this new format. Team building through a computer screen is challenging and different, but we can do it successfully! I am incredibly proud of the continual growth of the QFamily. Last year alone, we gave 67 leadership promotions, and we are looking forward to continued growth this year, adding even more to our leadership team.
Again, and as always, we are hoping for you and your loved ones’ safety and well-being.
Stay safe out there!
