Happy Friday, QFamily Partners!
According to last night’s report by the Ministry of Health, Panama’s numbers have risen to 291,285 with 4,651 deaths. Although the infection rate has decreased in the two largest provinces, Panama and Panama Oeste, the interior status has increased.
The government changed the nightly curfew from 7:00 pm – 5:00 am to 9:00 pm – 4:00 am effective tonight. The weekend quarantines will remain for now. In the Panama and Panama Oeste, where Panama City and the largest beach communities are located, the weekend lockdown is similar to the others where deliveries are still active and exempt business can remain open. In several interior provinces, Herrera, Cocle, Los Santos, and Veraguas (ONQ headquarter location), the weekend quarantines are more strict. No businesses can open, and no mobility or deliveries are permitted during the weekend. Monday through Friday, Panama and Panama Oeste will no longer be restricted to the two hours according to ID, but the days will remain gender-specific. Women can be out Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, and Men on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
The first shipment of the vaccine is scheduled to arrive next week and will be administered first to healthcare workers, national security forces, and people with disabilities. The government has announced a revised schedule of business openings from today through March 15.
The first graduation for 2021 is next week. This week’s video presents highlights from the final class graduations of 2020. Click here to view the video.
Our next class will meet on Monday to learn about our core values through our Core Values video. Click here to view. Since starting with EOS (Entrepreneurial Operating System), ONQ utilizes our Core Values in establishing our culture, rewards, and recognition and, when necessary, weeding out those who are not a fit. Most importantly, we attract like-minded individuals through our core values:
Value Creation
Can-Do Attitude
Commitment to Quality
I am looking forward to continuing working with all of you this year!
Again, and as always, we are hoping for you and your loved ones’ safety and well-being.
Stay safe out there!
